For the 3 alien scenario, it actually relatively balanced between humans and aliens, since one of the humans inevitably gives an off answer, which gives the aliens an opportunity pounce, or they stack all the hacks on 1 of the human players, making it impossible to determine whether they're a human or not.
There have been some wins with 2 alien setups still though, requiring some crazy reverse psychology w/ the Bioscanner, and getting lucky with the deliberation deck more than once. We started trying to figure out better strategies for the humans to win, and as they developed we ended up with the meta above where it's nearly impossible for 1-2 alien setups to win. This post was written about my group of friends, but at first it was basically impossible for humans to win since too many people were meming or giving intentionally bad answers. Drawing prompts players draw as many things related to the topic "lifeboat" will have a boat and a sinking ship and anyone going with a single image is an alien on account its harder to BS one picture, let alone three.Įssentially the humans answer "optimally" and with precision as opposed to honestly as I see the developers intended, maximize test, don't argue and then look at the data since then Aliens can not win. Vague questions like "The worst thing I wore to a job interview" would be answered with personality to show you KNOW the prompt like "Slacks, the boss hates those." Opinion deck is "banned" as it does not give good info and anyone who goes to it is an Alien trying to waste time. Example being "What's your favorite winter activity" answers like "snowboarding, skiing, snowman building" are encouraged while vague answers are immediately discredited if a vague question is asked its notated then retested. Meanwhile while answering they go as direct as possible to show they all got the prompt.
Pretty much all the human players answer as quickly as possible and hit the hurry up button to make sure each player gets tested 5 to 6 times.
